The Health Design Fellowship is a one-year program designed to give graduates of Emergency Medicine residency programs the skills and knowledge to effectively apply design thinking to health and healthcare. Within the fellowship, a sub-specialty track will be chosen to augment the fellow’s health design skill-set with a specific design-related focus. These tracks include: Built Environment Design, Medical Device Design, and Service/Experience Design.

By the end of the fellowship year, the fellow will have acquired a deep expertise in design thinking and its application to complex healthcare problems. The fellow will lead interdisciplinary design workshops, actively engage with students and industry partners as they bring products to market, and manage an integrated scholarly inquiry design track within the Sidney Kimmel Medical College.

We are recruiting now for the 2019-2020 Academic Year!
